Round Sock Toe

In this video tutorial, I show step-by-step how to knit a rounded sock toe! This top-down sock toe method can be applied to any stitch count, and will work for magic loop or double-pointed needles!

Rather than dividing the sock into two halves and decreasing on either end, this method splits the sock up into 6 sections and decreases evenly throughout them all. As an added bonus - there is NO KITCHENER STITCH required when you knit a rounded sock toe!

Length & Gauge

The length of the toe will depend on the number of sock stitches. Below are example row counts based on starting stitch counts that can be used as references to compare with a row gauge.

64 stitches = 21 rows
68 stitches = 23 rows
72 stitches = 24 rows
