Cable Knit Socks
In this step-by-step knitting tutorial I show you how to knit a pair of cable knit socks! The free pdf pattern download is linked below and is available in 3 sizes!
These socks are knit from the cuff down using magic loop. They feature a cuff cable pattern, ribbing, a heel flap and turn, and a cable pattern continuing over the arch of the foot. I hope you enjoy!
Sizes Available: Small {Medium} [Large]
• Small: fits a 7 - 8” (17.8 – 20.3 cm) circumference foot
• Medium: fits a 8-10” (20.3 – 25.4 cm) circumference foot
• Large: fits a 10” – 12” (25.4 – 30.5 cm) circumference foot
Note: the cuff cable is the least “stretchy” portion of the sock, this is where the upper bound for the fit circumference comes from. To ensure the cuff cable will fit, try sliding the cuff cable onto your foot when it is complete before continuing.
Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rds = 2” x 2” stockinette in the round
